Selected meetings and activities of WARSAWFLOW will take place in the transFORM area. Contact Improvisation constitutes a form of a dance or a game with unbounded possibilities. Each dance is a journey into the unknown and a sort of dynamic meditation. There is a lack of predictability and commonplace movement schemes are missing here. The body becomes the tool for a study and the one for discovering possibilities stemming from an incessantly changing point of contact between partners and the impact on them of gravitation principle, the force of momentum and interaction. The dance “in contact” renders us delighted with authenticity. Contact Improvisation is a field to awake fallen asleep instincts, to become open-minded towards one another and to build a relationship based on a dialogue of bodies, minds and hearts. It stimulates creativeness, develops the ability of non-verbal communition, deepens self-confidence and trust in the others. It provides childish joy and freedom. Contact Improvisation consists in listening and replying, in the dialogue between bodies. It teaches us trust, it motivates us to take a risk, it guides us into the unknown. It translates everyday life extraordinarily. It brings to its plenitude. The pace of development of Contact Improvisation is speeding up in Poland now! It has enjoyed great popularity in such countries as the USA, Bresil, Spain, Germany, Italy or Ukraine. For more information:
